Tradewind Australia is a specialist education recruitment agency and is the preferred supplier of teachers for many schools across the greater Melbourne region. We are currently recruiting for a Technology Teacher.
Our client is a small catholic school in the outer suburbs of South East Melbourne.
They are looking to appoint a Technology Teacher for Terms 3 and 4 with the view to ongoing in 2021. The role is currently offered as a 0.66 (Tuesday to Thursday with the occasional Monday or Friday) with the view of improving pupil engagement through Technology from Years 7 to 10.
The role offers plenty of scope as to what can be delivered with the successful candidate bringing their own passion and creativity to the role. The school has appropriate resources and facilities for the delivery of Woodwork, Plastics, Electronics, Technical Drawing, Robotics, Computer Design, Programming and Coding.
Being a new program the school is looking to run (and ideally continue into 2021) the key purpose is student engagement. You must be a teacher who is patient and can deliver in a clear and precise manor to middle school children. Class sizes range from 6 to 14.
