The Organisation
This is a values-driven, state-wide service providing specialist crisis support and advocacy for victim-survivors of family and domestic violence. Operating 24/7, the organisation delivers information, referral, safety planning, risk assessment, and access to secure crisis accommodation. Guided by trauma-informed and evidence-based practice, the team is committed to creating systemic change, empowering women and children, and ensuring safety, dignity, and respect for all.
The Role
As the Workforce Planner, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of a 24/7 crisis response service. You'll manage workforce planning, forecasting, and rostering, while providing data-driven insights to improve efficiency and service delivery. This role requires balancing operational requirements with employee wellbeing, creating effective rosters that comply with industrial requirements, and supporting leadership with strategic workforce advice.
Skills/Experience Required
- Skilled in HRIS or rostering systems - Humanforce highly regarded
- Understanding of SCHADS award will be required
- Significant experience in workforce planning, scheduling, and resource management (ideally in a 24/7 contact centre or crisis environment)
- Proven ability in forecasting and effective rostering
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, awards, and agreements
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills and high attention to detail
- Experience in real-time and data analysis to support operational decision-making
- Current Working with Children Check and National Police Check
