Tell us about your role.
I am a Business Development Manager on the Education side of Tradewind. I pride myself on building strong relationships with schools and forging new links with new schools.
Tell us about your career to date.
I began my recruitment career back in the UK after a long stint traveling across India, Nepal and Thailand. I represented Child Protection Social Workers for 5 years. When I got to Melbourne in 2017 I had a brief stint working with Architects, but I found I missed the Social Work sector too much and finally found my home at Tradewind.
I started on the Permanent desk and then saw an opportunity on the mental health team, working across AOD, homelessness & housing, youth, justice, asylum & disaster recovery sectors. I became Senior Consultant under Melissa Carson's fantastic guidance and enjoyed a productive year with that amazing team. I then had the privilege of being Team Leader for the Corporate Services Team for Community Services and before long, another opportunity then arose as Business Development Manager, and I knew it was time to make the leap and take on another challenge.

Invest in Long-Term Relationships - without this, a career in recruitment just won't work. I thrive off improving organisations workforces and efficiencies. I love finding out people's stories and finding out where they see their next steps going, and helping them achieve their goals.
I pride myself on the relationships I have built and seizing every opportunity. Even outside of work, I am that annoying mum in the playground that talks to anyone!

I've starred in two Bollywood movies and I have a Labrador called Banana!
