Hybrid role requiring regular travel interstate

Full-time Role

Seeking a skilled Risk and Safety professional to lead WHS and operational risk frameworks in a values-driven, cross-cultural organisation.

This role requires

  • Ability to travel regularly to Central Australia. 1-2 weeks every 2 months
  • Strong understanding of WHS legislation, risk assessment, and compliance standards, ideally within community or human services
  • Experience managing internal audits, training delivery, and supporting accreditation processes
  • Ability to work across multiple teams with different clinical cohorts
  • Collaborative and culturally respectful approach.
  • Current Working With Children Check, National Police Check, Driver's Licence

OHS Advisor - Aboriginal Organisation
Melbourne - Hybrid role + some travel in VIC

  • Delivering proactive OHS support, return to work coordination, and contributing to safety campaigns and policy development.
  • Experience managing WorkCover claims, ergonomic assessments, and training delivery is essential.
  • Ability to work in a supportive team environment
  • Tertiary qualifications in OHS or significant field experience is desirable, with
  • Strong appreciation for cultural safety and Aboriginal self-determination.

Health and Safety Business Partner - Community Health
Inner Melbourne - Some Hybrid opportunity
$95-105K + Super + NFP Salary packaging
Part-time role

An exciting opportunity exists for a qualified OHS professional to drive strategic safety initiatives in a diverse health service setting.

This role requires

  • providing expert advice across programs, conduct risk assessments, and support complex injury management.
  • A background in medium to large not-for-profit, healthcare or community settings is ideal
  • A proactive focus in implementation and a solutions focused approach
  • Leading the coordination and continuous improvement of OHS and Occupational Violence & Aggression (OVA) strategies across all service areas.
  • Partner with managers and Health & Safety Representatives to embed a culture of consultation and proactive safety practices organisation-wide.
  • a minimum of three years' WHS experience and relevant tertiary qualifications.
  • Current Working With Children Check, National Police Check, Driver's Licence
