Expression of Interest: Aboriginal Identified Practitioners - Relocate to Mildura

Are you an Aboriginal practitioner ready to lead, inspire, and create culturally safe services for Aboriginal families?

Tradewind Australia invites Expressions of Interest from Aboriginal Identified practitioners interested in relocating to Mildura to join The Orange Door-leading the way in culturally safe, responsive, and inclusive support for Aboriginal families.

We are recruiting for multiple exciting opportunities, including:

🔹 Aboriginal Practice Leader
🔹 Cultural Lead - The Orange Door
🔹 Practitioners - The Orange Door Hub

These roles are pivotal in strengthening cultural safety, self-determination, and best-practice responses across family violence, child and family services, and perpetrator interventions.

🌿 About the Opportunities

In these roles, you will:
🔸 Provide expert advice and practice leadership on Aboriginal cultural safety
🔸 Offer secondary consultations to build culturally safe practice
🔸 Support culturally safe interventions across family violence, child and family services, and perpetrator responses
🔸 Strengthen cultural competence within The Orange Door and partner organisations
🔸 Build strong relationships with Aboriginal communities, placing self-determination at the centre of practice

Full-time, ongoing positions based in Mildura
SCHADS Level 5-7 (depending on role) + super + salary packaging

🖤 About You

✔️ Identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander (Identified roles)
✔️ Strong understanding of Aboriginal culture, history, and the impact of intergenerational trauma
✔️ Experience in family violence, child and family services, or perpetrator interventions (preferred)
✔️ Confident in providing practice leadership, cultural advice, or frontline support
✔️ Passionate about Aboriginal self-determination and culturally safe services
