Are you an Aboriginal practitioner ready to lead, inspire, and create culturally safe services for Aboriginal families?

Tradewind Australia invites Expressions of Interest from Aboriginal Identified practitioners interested in relocating to Mildura and Swanhill to join The Orange Door-leading the way in culturally safe, responsive, and inclusive support for Aboriginal families.

We are recruiting for multiple exciting opportunities, including:

๐Ÿ”น Cultural Lead - The Orange Door
๐Ÿ”น Practitioners - The Orange Door Hub

These roles are pivotal in strengthening cultural safety, self-determination, and best-practice responses across family violence, child and family services, and perpetrator interventions.

๐ŸŒฟ About the Opportunities

In these roles, you will:
๐Ÿ”ธ Provide expert advice and practice leadership on Aboriginal cultural safety
๐Ÿ”ธ Offer secondary consultations to build culturally safe practice
๐Ÿ”ธ Support culturally safe interventions across family violence, child and family services, and perpetrator responses
๐Ÿ”ธ Strengthen cultural competence within The Orange Door and partner organisations
๐Ÿ”ธ Build strong relationships with Aboriginal communities, placing self-determination at the centre of practice

โœ”๏ธ Identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander (Identified roles)
โœ”๏ธ Strong understanding of Aboriginal culture, history, and the impact of intergenerational trauma
โœ”๏ธ Experience in family violence, child and family services, or perpetrator interventions (preferred)
โœ”๏ธ Confident in providing practice leadership, cultural advice, or frontline support
โœ”๏ธ Passionate about Aboriginal self-determination and culturally safe services
