This role offers meaningful, family-centred work within a transdisciplinary team, delivering support where it matters most - in homes, early learning settings, schools, and community environments.
About the Role
As an Allied Health / Specialist Education Professional, you will work collaboratively with children and families to identify priorities, develop functional goals, and build capacity within everyday routines.
Service delivery is flexible and occurs through a mix of face-to-face visits and telehealth, depending on family needs. You'll be supported to practise autonomously while remaining closely connected to a skilled, multidisciplinary team.
This is a relationship-based role focused on long-term outcomes rather than volume-driven service delivery.

Work with families to identify priorities and develop meaningful, functional goals
Provide discipline-specific intervention within a transdisciplinary model
Support families to build confidence, advocacy skills, and community connections
Maintain timely documentation, reports, and service data

Tertiary qualification in Allied Health or Special Education
Relevant professional registration (AHPRA, SPA, VIT or equivalent)
Experience working with children with disability and their families
Strong understanding of child development and family-centred practice
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Excellent communication, time management, and organisational skills
Desirable
Experience working in natural environments (home, school, community)
Experience with transdisciplinary or key worker models
Background in early childhood, disability, or NDIS-funded services
Benefits
Salary range $87k-$106k + super (based on experience)
Flexible working arrangements (full-time or part-time)
Manageable, outcome-focused caseloads
Supportive supervision, discipline mentoring, and coaching
Genuine work-life balance
Travel reimbursed above ATO rates; pool cars available in some regions
Strong professional development and career progression pathways
Why This Role?
Work exclusively with children and families - no restrictive practices model
Focus on quality outcomes, not just billable hours
Join a service that values flexibility, autonomy, and professional judgement
Be part of a team where learning, inclusion, and collaboration are non-negotiable
