About the Role:
A fantastic opportunity is open for a VCE Business Management teacher to become part of a Catholic senior school near Taylor's Hill in Melbourne's West. This position is focused on instructing students in years 11-12 in a 0.4 (2 days) time fraction, but full time can be accomodated with other methods (VM Literacy, Numeracy, Life Skills, RE).
Key duties:
- Work seamlessly within the Business faculty, committed to educating students in years 11 and 12
- Develop thorough lesson plans, assessments, and curriculum materials in strict alignment with Australian curriculum standards.
- Deliver engaging and impactful classroom instruction, fostering a positive and dynamic learning environment.
- Exhibit unwavering dedication to continuous professional growth and development, staying attuned to the evolving educational landscape.
- Embrace and uphold the school's educational philosophy, seamlessly integrating it into both teaching practices and personal ethos.
Skills & Experience:
- Completed relevant Qualifications in Education
- Maintain a valid and up-to-date VIT registration
- Have unrestricted working rights in Australia
- Demonstrate previous experience in teaching VCE Business Management
- Ability to provide contact details for two education-based references from within the last 5 years (student-teacher mentors are acceptable).
