About the Role:
As a CRT in Special Development settings, you'll work with students who have intellectual and/or multiple disabilities, providing vital support and adaptive instruction while fostering connection, safety, and consistency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
- Support students with personal care and communication needs, where required.
- Collaborate with ES staff and follow behaviour and learning plans.
- Build trusting relationships with students and create an inclusive classroom.
What We're Looking For:
Essential Qualifications:
- Current VIT registration and an approved Teaching Qualification.
- Two senior, education-based referees from the last 5 years.
Desired Attributes:
- Empathy, patience, and the ability to adapt to varying student needs.
- Previous experience in special education or a strong interest in this field.
