Cleaning Supervisor
Salary: $70,000-$75,000 + Super (pro rata)
Location: St Albans
Employment Type: Permanent, Part-Time (20 hours per week, Monday-Friday 4pm-8pm)
Tradewind Australia is partnering with a well-regarded school in Melbourne's western suburbs to recruit an experienced Cleaning Supervisor for an ongoing permanent opportunity commencing 13 March.
About the Role
This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for overseeing a team of six cleaners while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety and presentation across school facilities.
You will coordinate daily operations, manage rosters across term time and school holidays, and step in to support the team when required. The team is culturally diverse and may include staff with varying literacy levels, so strong communication and practical leadership skills are essential.
There is potential for additional hours during school events or peak periods for the right candidate.

Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate a team of 6-7 cleaners
- Manage rosters across term and school holiday periods
- Perform general cleaning duties including steam cleaning and floor scrubbing
- Monitor equipment and maintain OH&S compliance
- Liaise with school leadership regarding operational needs
What You'll Bring
- Previous cleaning or facilities experience (school experience ideal)
- Demonstrated ability to lead and support a diverse team
- Basic computer literacy and strong organisational skills
- Current Working With Children Check and willingness to complete a Police Check
