About the Role:
We are recruiting for a Diploma qualified Early Childhood Educator to work in an inclusive Jewish College (K-12), in the heart of Hawthorn. This is an independent school with a strong community ethos and a curriculum program inspired by Reggio Emilia.
Key duties:
- Identify and cater for individual learner needs, collaborating with teachers and specialist staff in the College.
- Provide an environment that promotes the cognitive, physical, emotional, social and intellectual wellbeing of all students.
- Work closely with parents regarding the progress and development of their children.
- Keep confidential records, respond to inquiries, and promote the centre professionally.
- Actively participate in the integrated team, ensuring compliance with policies, Child Safe Standards, and the Australian Early Childhood Association Code of Ethics.
Skills & Experience:
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or ACEQUA equivalency)
- Previous/current experience as an Early Childhood Educator in Australia
- Satisfactory Police and Working with Children checks
