About the Role

As a Diverse Learning Teacher, you will play a key role in supporting students with diverse learning needs to access curriculum and achieve personal and academic success. Working collaboratively with classroom teachers and support staff, you will contribute to inclusive practices across the secondary years and help enhance personalised learning programs.

This role offers strong support, ongoing professional learning and the opportunity to work within a welcoming, faith-based school community committed to inclusion, wellbeing and student growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, implement and differentiate learning programs to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Create a safe, inclusive and engaging classroom environment that supports student growth
  • Use assessment data to identify learning barriers and monitor student progress
  • Contribute to whole-school initiatives promoting inclusive education and student wellbeing

You will have:

  • Current or pending NESA registration
  • Knowledge of NCCD, Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) and Disability Standards for Education
  • Experience supporting students with diverse learning needs from years 5-12.
  • Experience completing personalised plans for students with a range of diverse needs
  • Special / Inclusive Education qualifications
