Tradewind Australia is delighted to be partnering with a warm and community-focused Early Learning Centre and Kindergarten in Hopetoun, located around 400km north-west of Melbourne. The centre is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated early childhood professional to join their team in 2026, with the option to begin sooner for the right candidate.


As part of the funded program for 3 and 4year-olds, we are seeking a committed Diploma qualified Educator who is passionate about delivering high-quality learning experiences and becoming part of a supportive regional community.

This role offers meaningful work in a regional community, an attractive financial incentive, and the chance to make a real impact in children's lives. You'll be guided through the whole process by a dedicated and experienced Tradewind consultant to ensure it's a smooth and enjoyable experience!

Relocation Incentives: Tier 1 ($9,000) for Educators


About the Role:

Diploma Qualified Early Childhood Educators
As a Diploma-qualified Educator, you'll be an essential part of guiding and supporting children aged 3-5 as they learn, explore, and grow. In this role, you'll contribute to the planning and delivery of meaningful experiences, foster inclusive environments where every child feels seen and valued, and nurture strong, positive connections with the children in your care. Your expertise will help maintain high standards of practice, promote positive developmental outcomes and uphold a culture grounded in wellbeing and safety.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care (Or ACECQA recognised equivalent)
  • A current clear WWCC (Employee) and National Police Check
  • Current First Aid qualifications

Skills & Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in an Early Childhood Educator role
  • The ability to model positive, developmentally appropriate behaviours when engaging with children, developing their social and emotional growth through pay-based learning
  • A solid understanding of early childhood development and implementation of the EYLF, including diverse learning styles and additional needs
  • Strong knowledge of current curriculum approaches and approved early childhood frameworks
  • Confidence assisting with planning, documenting, and delivering engaging educational programs for children aged 3-5
  • The ability to build respectful, inclusive, and meaningful relationships with colleagues, children, and families
  • Strong organisational skills, with the capacity to plan, manage time effectively, and work both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to collaborate with children, families, and allied professionals
  • A team-oriented approach, with flexibility, professionalism, and a positive attitude
  • Strong documentation and written communication skills
