Employment:
Full-time / Flexible hours (38hrs over 5 days, 9-day fortnight or 4 longer days)

Tradewind Australia is delighted to be partnering with a warm and community-focused Early Learning Centre and Kindergarten in Myrtleford, located around 300km north-east of Melbourne. The centre is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated early childhood professional to join their team as soon as possible.

As part of the funded program for 3 and 4year-olds, we are seeking a committed Early Childhood Educator who is passionate about delivering high-quality learning experiences and becoming part of a supportive regional community.

About the Role:

Qualified Early Childhood Educator
We're seeking an experienced Early Childhood Educator to join a rapidly growing, supportive organisation with multiple services in regional Victoria. This is a unique opportunity to work in a team that values high-quality, trauma-informed care, inclusion, and professional growth.

You'll be working with children aged 3-5, supporting their learning and development while contributing to a positive, collaborative culture. Every educator in the organisation holds an Early Childhood qualification, ensuring a strong foundation of knowledge and mentorship across the team.

Requirements

  • Cert III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA recognised)
  • Strong understanding of trauma-informed care and additional needs
  • Experience working with diverse children and teams
  • Adaptable, flexible, and capable of thriving in a fast-growing organisation
  • Driver's licence and own car (role requires mobility across three services)
  • Commitment to working collaboratively in a culture where no educator is ever left alone

Please note: New graduates are not suitable for this role.

Skills & Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in an Early Childhood Educator role
  • The ability to model positive, developmentally appropriate behaviours when engaging with children, developing their social and emotional growth through pay-based learning
  • A solid understanding of early childhood development and implementation of the EYLF, including diverse learning styles and additional needs including trauma - informed care and neurodivergent needs
  • Strong knowledge of current curriculum approaches and approved early childhood frameworks
  • Confidence assisting with planning, documenting, and delivering engaging educational programs for children aged 3-5
  • The ability to build respectful, inclusive, and meaningful relationships with colleagues, children, and families
  • Strong organisational skills, with the capacity to plan, manage time effectively, and work both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with children, families, and allied professionals
  • A team-oriented approach, with flexibility, professionalism, and a positive attitude
  • Strong documentation and written communication skills
