About the Role:
Tradewind are recruiting for an experienced and qualified Early Childhood Teacher to work in an excellent Christian based Early learning Centre from Term 1 2025. The ELC is attached to a College in the suburb of Lilydale.
The college is based in a peaceful location and is a close-knit school community with a multicultural and diverse student body. Key duties:
- Demonstate a strong passion for early childhood education.
- Develop and deliver an educational program that fosters children's interests and stimulates their passion for learning.
- Establish and maintain stimulating indoor and outdoor learning environments that provide a wide range of resources and materials which children can utilise to develop individual and group projects.
- Understand the expectations of Victorian and National Curriculum Frameworks, National Quality Standards and the current Regulations.
- Maintain children's individual observations, assessments and learning plans.
- Build and maintain positive and respectful relationships with families and children.
- Mentor other Educators as part of the leadership team.
Skills & Experience:
- ACECQA approved qualification; Bachelor of Early Childhood and Education
- VIT registration
- Deep understanding of early learning pedagogy and working knowledge of the National Quality Framework including National Regulations, National Quality Standards (NQS), Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise with children, parents and colleagues.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Current first aid qualifications including asthma, anaphylaxis and CPR.
