Pay & Incentives:
Paid in line with the VECTEA Agreement, commensurate with skills and experience
$9,000 Location Incentive available (subject to eligibility and conditions)

About the Role
Tradewind Australia is partnering with a well-established community kindergarten in Ringwood to recruit an experienced Early Childhood Teacher to join their team before the end of the month.
The service is seeking a confident, collaborative ECT who enjoys team teaching and providing pedagogical leadership, working alongside an early-career teacher in a supportive, professional environment.
Due to current team composition, this role is not suitable for new graduates.
3-4-year-old mixed-age group
33 children | 3 staff
Strong focus on school readiness and high-quality educational practice
Immediate start required due to a temporary teacher finishing at month end
Days & Hours
Core permanent days:
Wednesday: 8:00am - 5:00pm
Friday: 8:00am - 4:30pm
Additional hours via School Readiness Funding (SRF):
Monday & Tuesday: 8:00am - 4:30pm (team teaching)
Wednesday: Lunch cover
Currently 11 hours of SRF funding is approved through to the end of the year, with the potential for increased funding in 2026.

14 hours contact time
7 hours non-contact time
What You'll Bring
ACECQA-approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification
Current VIT registration
Demonstrated experience in a kindergarten setting
Confidence providing pedagogical leadership, mentoring and supporting educators through team teaching
Strong understanding of the VEYLDF, National Quality Framework and Child Safe Standards
Willingness to act as a Responsible Person when required
A warm, professional and collaborative approach to working with children, families and colleagues
