Pay: $85,000-$90,000 + super
Location: Inner Eastern Suburbs (Melbourne) - hybrid options available
Employment Type: Full-time (0.8-1.0 FTE), initial 6-month fixed term
About the Role:
We are partnering with a leading not-for-profit community organisation in Melbourne's east to recruit an experienced and proactive Executive & Governance Coordinator. This role provides high-level support to the Executive Leadership Team, combining senior administrative responsibilities with key governance coordination.
You will manage executive diaries, coordinate meetings, prepare reports and correspondence, and support a range of strategic initiatives. Alongside this, you will assist with Board and committee processes, governance documentation, and internal communications. Key Responsibilities:
Provide executive support including diary management, travel coordination, meeting preparation, and document drafting
Coordinate Board, Executive, and Management Team meetings, including agendas and minutes
Maintain governance documentation and support compliance with organisational policies
Manage internal communications, including staff updates, newsletters, and announcements
Act as a central liaison across departments, ensuring collaboration and follow-up on key actions
What You'll Bring:
Essential
Experience in executive support, governance coordination, or similar roles
Strong understanding of governance processes and Board/Committee operations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High level of organisation and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Proven ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems
Desirable
Tertiary qualifications in Business Administration, Communications, Governance, or related field
Experience in the not-for-profit, education, or community services sector
Experience in internal communications or stakeholder engagement
