Pay: $85,000-$90,000 + super

Location: Inner Eastern Suburbs (Melbourne) - hybrid options available

Employment Type: Full-time (0.8-1.0 FTE), initial 6-month fixed term

About the Role:
We are partnering with a leading not-for-profit community organisation in Melbourne's east to recruit an experienced and proactive Executive & Governance Coordinator. This role provides high-level support to the Executive Leadership Team, combining senior administrative responsibilities with key governance coordination.

You will manage executive diaries, coordinate meetings, prepare reports and correspondence, and support a range of strategic initiatives. Alongside this, you will assist with Board and committee processes, governance documentation, and internal communications. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide executive support including diary management, travel coordination, meeting preparation, and document drafting

  • Coordinate Board, Executive, and Management Team meetings, including agendas and minutes

  • Maintain governance documentation and support compliance with organisational policies

  • Manage internal communications, including staff updates, newsletters, and announcements

  • Act as a central liaison across departments, ensuring collaboration and follow-up on key actions

What You'll Bring:

Essential

  • Experience in executive support, governance coordination, or similar roles

  • Strong understanding of governance processes and Board/Committee operations

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • High level of organisation and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Proven ability to handle sensitive information with discretion

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems

Desirable

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business Administration, Communications, Governance, or related field

  • Experience in the not-for-profit, education, or community services sector

  • Experience in internal communications or stakeholder engagement
