About the Role

Are you passionate about supporting women and children escaping family violence? ๐Ÿ’œ As a Specialist Family Violence Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in delivering crisis response, intensive case management, and holistic support to help victim survivors transition safely to secure and stable accommodation. ๐Ÿกโœจ


What You'll Do

  • ๐Ÿค Build trusting, empowering relationships with victim survivors, fostering self-determination and participation

  • ๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and develop personalised safety plans using approved tools

  • ๐Ÿšจ Provide crisis intervention and intensive case management within refuge settings

  • ๐Ÿ“‹ Develop and implement individual case plans tailored to client needs and goals

  • ๐ŸŒ Support clients in accessing essential services, advocacy, and community connections

  • ๐Ÿคœ๐Ÿค› Collaborate closely with Specialist FV Practitioners across teams to ensure wraparound support

  • ๐Ÿ’ก Identify service gaps and contribute ideas for continuous improvement of service delivery

What We're Looking For

  • ๐ŸŽ“ Tertiary qualification in Social Work (essential)

  • ๐Ÿคธ Ability to work flexibly and adapt to a challenging environment with integrity and respect
