Rate $28 -40 per hour (dependent on experience) + Super

About the Role:

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced, caring and committed Early Childhood Educator in a lovely Early Learning Centre. The successful applicant will work closely and collaboratively with the rest of the Early Years Team, keeping children's development and safety at the forefront of everything they do.


Key duties:

  • Support learning activities aligned with the EYFS curriculum.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and staff.
  • Provide assistance and care for children in the centre, including infants aged 0-2 years.
  • Assess and provide feedback on student progress as needed.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive environment throughout the centre.
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities for infants, fostering their learning and growth.
  • Foster strong relationships with children and families, encouraging open communication.
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and engaging environment that promotes infants' well-being.
  • Document children's progress and development for individualized support.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators to deliver high-quality early childhood education and care.


Skills & Experience:

  • A cert III or Diploma in Early Childhood OR an ACECQA approved Early Childhood Qualification in line with these qualifications
  • Working with Children Check (Employee)
  • Understanding of the aims, objectives and current trends in Early Years education
  • Current approved first aid qualification approved by the Education and Care Services National Regulation
  • Recent and relevant experience working in an Early Learning Centre
