About the Role:
A Catholic Primary School in Melbourne's West is seeking a passionate Primary teacher to join their community-focused team from Term 3, 2025. This part-time position spans three days a week-two days teaching in a Grade 5 shared role and one day delivering Foundation Art.

Key duties:
- Plan and deliver engaging Primary and Foundation Art lessons aligned with the curriculum and student needs.
- Maintain a positive, respectful classroom environment and manage student behaviour effectively.
- Differentiate instruction to support diverse learners, including those with disabilities or EAL needs.
- Develop and assess student learning, providing timely feedback to students and parents.
- Stay current with best practices in art education and engage in ongoing professional development.
- Reflect and uphold the school's educational philosophy in all aspects of teaching.
- Collaborate in team planning, meetings, and whole-school initiatives

Skills & Experience:
- Completed a minimum 4 year Bachelor's degree with at least 1 year teaching qualification
- Hold a valid and up-to-date VIT registration
- Have unrestricted working rights in Australia
- Previous experience in Primary teaching in Australia/New Zealand advantageous, graduates welcome to apply
- Ability to provide contact details for at least two education-based references from within the last 5 years (student-teacher mentors are acceptable).
