Key Duties
- Conduct engaging Japanese language lessons for secondary college students, catering to varied learning needs.
- Develop and execute effective lesson plans to enhance language skills and cultural understanding.
- Foster a supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and growth.
- Evaluate student progress using diverse assessment methods and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to incorporate Japanese language and culture across the curriculum.
- Stay current with best practices in language education and actively participate in school activities and events.
Skills & Experience:
- Completed relevant Qualifications in Education
- Maintain a valid and up-to-date VIT registration
- Have unrestricted working rights in Australia
- Demonstrate previous experience as a Japanese Teacher- Graduates are welcome to apply too
- Ability to provide contact details for two education-based references from within the last 5 years (student-teacher mentors are acceptable).
