About the Role:
Attention to all passionate Secondary Maths teachers! Tradewind is working with an F-9 school located in Caroline Springs, Melbourne's West, to fill a teaching position for year 7-9 Maths with other possible teaching methods, starting from now in a full-time, ongoing position. Key duties:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive math curriculum that aligns with The Victorian Curriculum
- Create engaging and interactive lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to effectively convey mathematical concepts and problem-solving strategies.
- Provide timely feedback to students on their performance and progress in math.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the individual needs of students, including providing additional support or challenges as needed.
- Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated on best practices in math education, teaching methodologies, and curriculum development.
- Collaborate with other math teachers and school staff to share resources, ideas, and best practices.
Skills & Experience:
- Must have full Australia Working Rights
- Hold VIT registration
- 4 year Bachelor Degree containing at least 1 year teacher qualifications
- Graduates welcome to apply
- Ability to provide contact details for two education-based references from within the last 5 years (student-teacher mentors are acceptable).
