About the Role

As the Kindergarten Inclusion Support Team Leader, you will:

  • Lead a regional team to deliver the Kindergarten Inclusion Support (KIS) Program in alignment with best practice and Department of Education guidelines.

  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and professional development of Additional Assistants.

  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with kindergarten services, stakeholders, and the Department of Education.

  • Ensure compliance, monitor program outcomes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Provide operational leadership, support your team, and contribute to strategic planning for the program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the KIS team to ensure effective service delivery

  • Recruit, place, and support Additional Assistants across regional kindergartens

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with services, stakeholders, and the Department of Education

  • Monitor program outcomes, compliance, and reporting requirements

  • Support continuous improvement and innovation in service delivery

  • Conduct team meetings, performance reviews, and professional development initiatives

You will have:

  • Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education and experience or further studies in Disability and Inclusion support

  • Experience in a similar role is essential

  • Experience in program management, team leadership, and workforce coordination

  • Knowledge of inclusive practices and early childhood education environments

  • Familiarity with Department of Education guidelines and regional workforce dynamics

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills

  • Commitment to values-driven, child-focused service delivery

  • Current Working with Children/Vulnerable People Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and Driver Licence
