Key Duties
- Deliver lectures, workshops, and assessments, ensuring alignment with accreditation standards and course objectives.
- Develop curriculum, units, and teaching materials while implementing innovative, evidence-based teaching practices.
- Engage in research, scholarship, and supervision of students, fostering academic excellence and continuous improvement.
Skills and Experience
Essential
- A higher degree in Social Work with eligibility for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
- Extensive experience in professional social work practice and proven teaching experience at the tertiary level.
- Strong knowledge of social work theory, ethics, and evidence-based practices with a commitment to innovation in teaching and research.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to contribute to curriculum design and academic leadership.
- Familiarity with learning management systems and willingness to engage in ongoing professional development.
Desirable
- Evidence of research publications, conference presentations, or grant-funded projects.
- Experience in curriculum development for postgraduate courses and innovative teaching methods.
- Knowledge of the ESOS Framework and National Code 2018 or willingness to acquire this knowledge.
