About the Role

We are seeking a full-time Licensing Coordinator to work on-site across the Greater Brisbane and Gold Coast Regions, with flexibility for the successful candidate to be based in Gold Coast, Logan, Ipswich, Brisbane, or North Brisbane. The Licensing Coordinator will work directly with internal and external stakeholders to support and ensure the quality of our services in providing therapeutic care to young people through the provision of high-quality service delivery, adherence to legislative requirements and licensing and registration standards.

This role will play a key role in the continuous improvement of the organisation's approach to practice, support the organisation through systemic change processes and have the capability to participate in complex projects and auditing processes that cut across geographical areas.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintain up to date knowledge of the latest requirements relating to departmental licensing, service agreements, sector reform and revision to legislation.
  • Develop, in consultation with Operational leaders, an audit schedule for regions and attend monitoring visits facilitated by external bodies and support on-site audits conducted by external providers.
  • Service Delivery. Conducting internal care audits and process audits to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and organisational procedures.
  • Identify service trends and gaps in service delivery and provide compliance and conformance reporting to internal and external stakeholders including regional Operational Leaders.
  • Continuous Improvement. Undertake root cause analysis processes, maintain data integrity, and consult with Senior Quality Advisor in the development of corrective action plans to improve organisational practice including monitoring and oversight of restrictive practices.
  • Support Case Manager's and their teams to maintain a high standard of service delivery and quality documentation to internal and external stakeholders.

About You

Our Licensing Coordinator will bring a genuine passion to make a difference in the lives of young people and our communities, holding certain attributes and demonstrated knowledge and experience. Personable attributes will include:

  • Hold relevant qualification of at least a Diploma of Quality Auditing, or other relevant studies.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of legislation, regulations and policy, and success in evaluating and advising on the provision, compliance, and continuous improvement of quality human services.
  • Well-developed communication skills, including stakeholder presentation, consultation, and negotiation.
  • Demonstrated understanding of diversity and inclusion of LGBTIQ+ communities, and culturally diverse populations (desirable).
  • Demonstrated understanding of diversity in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and implementation of culturally safe practices (desirable).
  • Quality assurance training and/or experience with state-specific licensing/accreditation compliance processes and documentation.
  • People focused, valuing the individual in all aspects of therapeutic
  • Solution focused, collaborative, clearly articulating and inspiring growth in others.

This role will be based in and around the Greater Brisbane and Gold Coast Regions with travel between the areas as required.
