Location: Frankston South, Brighton & Bundoora (regular travel between sites)

About the Role

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager and working within the Property & Procurement team, you will be responsible for assisting with and undertaking maintenance of buildings, plant, equipment and grounds across multiple sites.

This role requires regular travel between Frankston South, Brighton and Bundoora. Each site has a company vehicle available for use for travel between sites, with occasional regional travel required (not frequent).

You will manage reactive maintenance tasks and contribute to preventative maintenance schedules, minor refurbishment projects and contractor coordination - ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

There are no direct reports in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake general building and facility maintenance across multiple sites
  • Respond to and manage reactive maintenance work orders
  • Contribute to preventative maintenance schedules
  • Assist with minor refurbishment and on-site projects
  • Prepare Job Safety Analyses (JSA's) and Safe Work Method Statements (SWM's)
  • Ensure compliance with OH&S legislation and organisational procedures
  • Liaise with contractors, trades and suppliers
  • Maintain accurate documentation and work order records

What You'll Bring

Essential:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience providing general facility maintenance
  • Strong all-round maintenance capability with ability to prioritise and manage multiple onsite tasks
  • Experience preparing JSA's and SWM's
  • Sound knowledge of OH&S legislation, regulations and safe work practices
  • Intermediate computer skills for work order systems and reporting
  • Current driver's licence
Desirable:
  • Experience within aged care or residential settings
  • Trade qualification (not essential)
