About the Role:
Reporting to the Executive Director of Aged Care, as a member of the aged care management team, you are responsible for the leadership, planning and decision making of our client's direct care service ensuring it supports the organisation's strategic direction, which includes growth across Australia.
Operating in a highly competitive environment, you will work towards achieving overall client outcomes, service profitability, and the future development and growth of the aged care directorate. This includes delivering high quality care, servicing new clients, retaining existing clients in their service locations, operating an effective and efficient service, planning operational budgets and resourcing to accommodate a growing business.
You will provide support and direction to a team of certificate qualified, and unqualified, direct care staff working remotely in client homes across Gippsland and other parts of Victoria, as well as the rostering and administration team.
You will be responsible for the delivery of high quality services that meet budget, key performance expectations and statistical and administrative requirements in a timely and smooth functioning manner.
This role will involve travelling across Victoria and possibly interstate as well as working in the Morwell office.

Spearhead business planning initiatives for transformative changes, and expertly handle funding submissions and reports.
- Engaging Partnership Development: Forge and nurture robust relationships across internal teams, services, and sectors. Actively participate in local, regional, and statewide networks that align with our strategic vision.
- Empowering Staff Management: Join forces with the leadership team to cultivate a vibrant culture of exceptional customer service and collaborative teamwork.
- Streamlined Reporting Excellence: Oversee the efficient collection and organisation of data as outlined in service agreements and business strategies. Ensure timely compliance with all internal and external reporting requirements.
- Proactive Quality & Risk Management: Take charge of investigating and addressing complaints within your area of responsibility, responding swiftly and effectively in alignment with our clients' established procedures.
Skills & Experience:
- Leads and manages a remote team and delivers program objectives within service delivery and budget parameters.
- Delivers program objectives within service delivery and budget parameters, as well as establish new programs and services.
- Commitment to excellence in customer service, in particular, aged care customer service and sales processes.
- Sound understanding of monitoring and managing budgets and the ability to critically analyse business performance
- Have an understanding of a range of HR issues (i.e. legislative requirements, recruitment & selection, performance management).
- Medium to high level of computer literacy and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office suite of programs and the internet.
- Proven ability to undertake data entry, document management and navigate between databases.
- A current driver's license is essential.
You will also have or be willing to undergo a Working with Children Check and a Police Check.
