About the Role:
An outstanding opportunity awaits a dedicated Maths/Science teacher to join a brand new school opening in Truganina in Term 1. This school, serving around 1200 students from years 7 and 10 across two local campuses, provides a great opportunity to be part of a wonderful new school community. The school supports both graduates and experienced teachers, offers learning coaching, and brand new facilities.
Key duties:
- Work within a supporting teaching cohort within the domains of Maths and Science
- Design and develop lesson plans, assessments, and curriculum materials that align with relevant Australian curriculum standards
- Deliver engaging and effective classroom instruction, fostering a positive learning environment
- Commit to continuous professional growth and development
- Work across two campuses situated in in close proximity
Skills & Experience:
- Completed relevant Qualifications in Education
- Maintain a valid and up-to-date VIT registration
- Have unrestricted working rights in Australia
- Demonstrate previous experience in teaching secondary Maths/Science subjects in Australia
- Ability to provide contact details for two education-based references from within the last 5 years (student-teacher mentors are acceptable).

- Receiving a salary commensurate with your demonstrated expertise, within the range of $75,000 to $115,000
