About the Role

As a Mathematics Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective mathematics programs aligned with the Victorian Curriculum (and VCE where applicable). You will join a supportive faculty and contribute to curriculum planning, assessment moderation and whole-school improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

* Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons aligned with the Victorian Curriculum (and VCE study designs if applicable)
* Use data to inform teaching, differentiation and intervention strategies
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student engagement and achievement
* Assess, monitor and report on student progress
* Contribute to curriculum development and faculty planning
* Participate in professional learning communities and whole-school initiatives


You Will Have

* Tertiary qualifications in Education with a Mathematics specialisation (or relevent field)
* Current or pending Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration
* Experience teaching Mathematics in secondary settings (government experience desirable but not essential)
* Strong curriculum knowledge and effective classroom practice
* Commitment to inclusive education and student wellbeing
* Strong communication and collaboration skills
