About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Clinician to provide high-quality, recovery-focused care to consumers experiencing mental health crises. This role involves working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team and supporting consumers, their families, and carers to achieve positive mental health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Build professional, trusting relationships with consumers.
Conduct assessments and develop collaborative care and exit plans.
Provide centre-based and outreach support using a strengths-based, person-centred approach.
Contribute to integrated, team-based mental health service delivery.
Support consumer and carer participation in planning and decision-making.
Collect and analyse service data to inform continuous improvement.
Maintain compliance with clinical governance, WH&S, and organisational policies.
Collaborate with community partners and external services to enhance consumer outcomes.
Assist in service development, policy review, and evaluation initiatives.
Ensure accurate records management and adherence to data, privacy, and risk protocols.
Essential Requirements:
Tertiary qualification in Nursing, Psychology, Social Work, or Occupational Therapy.
Accredited registration with AHPRA, APS, or AASW.
Current Working with Children Check and Police Check.
Valid Australian Driver License and access to a vehicle.
Proven experience in mental health service delivery and recovery-based approaches.
Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams.
Ability to prepare reports with clinical recommendations.
