Tradewind Australia partners with service providers across the Disability sector to offer quality care to Victorian communities. We are currently working with a small yet dynamic organisation that specialises in supporting people with brain injuries and degenerative neurological conditions. They are seeking a full-time Team Leader to oversee their busy NDIS Support Coordination team.

About the Role

The Team Leader will provide leadership and oversight of the NDIS Support Coordination team ensuring high-quality service delivery, compliance and achievement of organisational goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the delivery of NDIS Support Coordination services
  • Manage the intake of NDIS referrals and allocate participants to Support Coordinators
  • Supervise staff providing both day-to-day guidance and formal monthly supervision
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance and meet financial targets
  • Assist the General Manager of Operations with NDIS Quality and Safety compliance audits
  • Manage a small caseload where required

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years' experience as an NDIS Support Coordinator or in a similar leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of NDIS standards and compliance requirements
  • High level of emotional intelligence, empathy and the ability to problem-solve by thinking outside the box
  • Strong leadership skills with a collaborative team-oriented approach
  • Ability to support and guide staff while stepping in to assist when required
  • High level of discretion and empathy in managing sensitive information and situations
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Certificate IV, tertiary qualification or equivalent relevant experience

Desirable

  • Understanding of the impact of brain injury and degenerative neurological conditions
  • Experience in auditing processes
