About the Role

This role offers an exciting opportunity for a passionate Secondary Science teacher to teach Junior Mathematics, and Stage 6 Physics within a supportive K-12 school community. The position involves designing engaging, student-centred learning experiences and contributing to a collaborative and caring teaching team. You'll play a key role in fostering a safe, inspiring environment where students thrive. This is a full time, ongoing position commencing in term 1 2026.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ability to create engaging, differentiated, student-centred lessons.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Capacity to teach Stage 4-5 Science, Junior Maths, and Stage 6 Physics.

  • Demonstrated capacity to meet the professional expectations of the teaching profession as expressed by AITSL and NESA.

  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and nurturing classroom environment.

You will have:

  • A formal teaching qualification (degree level).
  • A current NESA registration to teach in NSW - or be eligible to register with NESA.
  • Demonstrated experience teaching high qaulity lessons to Stage 4-5 Science, Junior Mathematics, and Years 11 and 12 Physics.
  • A current Working with Children Check in NSW.
