About the Role:
Are you a creative and artistic Visual Arts teacher looking for a new opportunity? Tradewind is partnering with a fantastic school in Truganina, seeking a teacher to teach years 5-7 in Visual Arts, starting from Term 3, on a full-time basis. Key duties:
- Design and deliver art lessons that align with curriculum standards and cater to the diverse needs of primary students.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages self-expression and artistic exploration.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate projects and activities to enhance students' understanding and appreciation of art.
- Assess and provide constructive feedback on students' artistic endeavours to facilitate their growth and development.
- Stay abreast of current trends and best practices in art education, continuously seeking opportunities for professional development.
- Exhibit unwavering dedication to ongoing professional growth and development, staying abreast of the evolving educational landscape.
- Embrace and uphold the school's educational philosophy, seamlessly integrating it into both teaching practices and personal ethos.
Skills & Experience:
- Must have unrestricted working rights in Australia
- Current VIT registration
- Demonstrate previous experience in teaching Primary/Secondary Art- welcoming of graduates
- Graduates welcome to apply and will be supported
- Ability to provide contact details for two education-based references from within the last 5 years (student-teacher mentors are acceptable).
