The Role:
Tradewind is seeking a passionate and dedicated Secondary French LOTE teacher (Years 5-12) to join a highly regarded independent grammar school in Melbourne's West. This co-educational school, known for its academic excellence and focus on holistic student development, offers a full-time, ongoing position commencing Term 1, 2026.

Key Duties:
- Develop engaging, age-appropriate French curriculum plans aligned with the Victorian Curriculum for secondary students.
- Deliver interactive French language lessons, focusing on vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and language structures.
- Integrate French culture into lessons through projects, stories, and activities to foster cultural understanding and awareness.
- Design assessments to monitor language acquisition and provide timely, constructive feedback to support student progress.
- Collaborate with colleagues across departments to incorporate French language and culture into broader school initiatives and projects.
- Engage in ongoing professional development, staying current with best practice and innovations in language teaching.
Skills & Experience:
- Have unrestricted working rights in Australia
- Teaching Qualifications
- Current VIT registration
- Have at least 2 years' experience teaching Primary/Secondary French LOTE in Vic/Australia
- Ability to provide contact details for at least two education-based references from within the last 5 years
