About the Role:
An exciting opportunity awaits a dedicated Primary teacher at a cutting-edge Independent School in Melton, situated in Melbourne's West. This is a permanent position focused on instructing students in upper Primary years, within state-of-the-art facilities. The school, recognized as one of the largest and globally renowned independent institutions, boasts a student body of over 9000 across 125 campuses worldwide. The Melton Campus, the largest in Victoria, is housed in a modern facility, serving not only local students but also those from nearby Ballarat, Geelong, Melbourne, Sunbury, and Werribee. The campus features dedicated learning spaces for both Primary and Secondary education, currently accommodating 225 students onsite.

Key duties:

  • Collaborate seamlessly within a compact teaching team, dedicated to instructing students in years 3/4.
  • Formulate and create comprehensive lesson plans, assessments, and curriculum materials in strict adherence to the Australian curriculum standards.
  • Execute captivating and impactful classroom instruction, nurturing a positive and dynamic learning atmosphere.
  • Demonstrate a steadfast commitment to ongoing professional growth and development, staying attuned to the evolving educational landscape.
  • Embrace and uphold the Christian educational philosophy of the school, integrating it into both teaching practices and personal ethos.

Skills & Experience:

  • Completed relevant Qualifications in Education
  • Maintain a valid and up-to-date VIT registration
  • Have unrestricted working rights in Australia
  • Demonstrate previous experience in teaching Primary students
  • Ability to provide contact details for two education-based references from within the last 5 years (student-teacher mentors are acceptable).
