Job Description
Tradewind is partnering with an independent K-6 school in South Western Sydney seeking a dedicated and passionate Primary Classroom Teacher to join their collaborative team.
This is a full-time, temporary opportunity commencing immediately, with the possibility for extension beyond the initial contract.
The Role
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning programs across all Key Learning Areas, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment, and supporting students to achieve their individual learning goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and implement engaging, curriculum-aligned programs across K-6
- Differentiate instruction to cater for a diverse range of student abilities
- Use a variety of effective teaching strategies to maximise student engagement and outcomes
- Collaborate with colleagues to support whole-school teaching and learning initiatives
Prerequisites:
- Eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
- Tertiary Qualification
- Valid Working with Children Check (for employment purposes)
- Ability to provide contact details for two education-based references
