Key Teacher duties:
- Develop and implement lesson plans and instructional materials that align with the Victorian curriculum
- Establish and maintain a positive and orderly classroom environment conducive to learning, including managing student behaviour, fostering positive relationships, and promoting mutual respect among students.
- Design and administer assessments, to evaluate students' understanding and provide timely feedback to students and parents on their progress and areas for improvement.
- Provide additional support and assistance to students who require differentiation to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with learning disabilities or English language learners.
- Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and support staff to share ideas, resources, and strategies for improving student learning outcomes.
- Participate in team meetings, grade-level planning, and school-wide initiatives to support the school community.
Key Team Leader Duties:
- Coordinate excursions, incursions, and special events, including risk assessments and parent communication.
- Manage ordering, organisation, and distribution of classroom and curriculum resources.
- Liaise with parent helpers and volunteers, ensuring clear communication and compliance.
- Prepare newsletter updates and team communications for the school community.
- Support team operations through scheduling, shared resources, and liaison with school leadership.
Skills & Experience:
- Have unrestricted working rights in Australia
- Completed relevant Qualifications in Education
- Current VIT registration
- Demonstrate previous experience in teaching Primary in Australia
- Ability to provide contact details for two education-based references from within the last 5 years (student-teacher mentors are acceptable).
Offering:
- Teaching Primary students in years F-6 (yet to be determined)
- Commencement from in Term 1, 2025
- Team Leader duties include an additional financial incentive

- Receiving a salary commensurate with your demonstrated expertise, within the range of $79,000 to $118,000
