Job Description
We are seeking to hire a Procurement Category Specialist (Fleet Assets) for a government client based in the Rooty Hill depot. This is an 8-month contract starting in two weeks, with working hours from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing the procurement processes for the fleet assets category within the organization. This role involves strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, contract negotiation, and cost optimization to ensure the availability and efficiency of fleet assets. The specialist will collaborate with various stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business goals and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
You will have experience in Fleet or Category Management in a procurement environment and a minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, focusing on fleet assets or a similar category. A proven track record in strategic sourcing, supplier management, and contract negotiation is essential. If you have expertise in TechnologyOne it will be highly regarded, however not essential.
