Position Overview:
The Compliance/Candidate Consultant plays a crucial role within the branch in supporting 2 key areas of the recruitment process.
Compliance focus in ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies. This position involves working closely with various departments to assess, develop, implement, and monitor compliance standards. The Compliance Consultant serves as a subject matter expert on regulatory requirements, identifying risks, and recommending solutions to mitigate those risks. This role requires a deep understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
Candidate Attraction focus in working alongside the consultants in sourcing and screening the best and most suitable candidates for our clients across Queensland.
KEY COMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and monitor end to end compliance standards and in line with key organisational requirements
- Keeping abreast of any compliance changes (Government, Registry bodies or Tradewind implemented) and revising processes as and when a need arises.
- Undertaking and managing any compliance audits as required.
- Monitor industry best practice and identify opportunities to remain competitive in the current market to ensure we can attract the best talent and build an ongoing pipeline for future vacancies.
- Maintain an up to date working knowledge of our industry to provide advice and guidance to relevant stakeholders, including Hiring Managers.
- Maximise the use and effectiveness of resources (i.e.: people, systems and processes) to deliver and manage accurate and high-quality end-to-end recruitment services to the clients, ensuring your team produce excellence in quality and customer service throughout.
- Champion the organisations vision and values through leading by example in operational excellence, professional behaviour and high standards of work.
- Ensure all your functions of the Compliance Consultant role are being adhered to.
KEY CANDIDATE ATTRACTION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work alongside the high volume recruitment desks and assist with candidate screening, interviewing and processing where required.
- Assist at times with candidate searching via SEEK and Linked In Recruiter.
- Assist with placing adverts and driving marketing campaigns along with consultsnts and Tradewind Head Office marketing teams.
- Develop and release job postings on job board platforms, such as Seek, indeed, Tradewind website, social media and professional platforms.
- Screen and respond to applicants and prospects, qualify and verify for suitability, and book interviews or refer candidates to relevant teams to book.
- Ensure minimum compliance requirements are met for registering candidates.
- Conducting phone references as required.
- Participating in compliance audits when required.
- Managing the candidate journey through the application process to activation.
