A well-regarded school in Blacktown is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Religion Teacher to join our team at the beginning of Term 4. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and meaningful Religious Education lessons to students from Years 7-12, fostering a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. This role involves planning and assessing curriculum, helping students develop spiritual awareness, moral values, and critical thinking skills. Collaboration with colleagues to enhance overall educational outcomes is essential. Strong communication skills and a deep commitment to the school's faith values are required.

Key Duties:
- Develop and implement dynamic lesson plans in line with the Religious Education curriculum.
- Evaluate and monitor student progress, offering constructive and spiritual guidance.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that reflects the school's faith-based values.
- Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and community service projects.
- Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary initiatives and faith-based school programs.
- Uphold and integrate the school's religious teachings and values into the educational framework.
Skills & Experience:
- Completed relevant Qualifications in Education
- Maintain a valid and up-to-date NESA registration
- Have unrestricted working rights in Australia
- Demonstrate previous experience as a Religion Teacher- Graduates are welcome to apply too
- Ability to provide contact details for two education-based references from within the last 5 years (student-teacher mentors are acceptable).
