Administration/ Rostering Officer (Disability & Community Services)
Pay: SCHADS Level 3 + super
Location: Brisbane
Employment Type: Full-time | Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm
Tradewind Australia is partnering with a growing disability support organisation to recruit a highly organised and proactive Administration/ Rostering Officer. This is a fast-paced, high-volume role suited to someone with a strong administrative background who thrives under pressure and enjoys problem-solving in real time.

About the Role
As Administration/ Rostering Officer, you'll be responsible for coordinating and maintaining accurate staff rosters to ensure participants receive consistent, high-quality support. You'll work closely with Case Managers and operational leaders to ensure shifts are filled quickly, cost-effectively and in line with SCHADS Award requirements.
This role sits at the operational heart of the service - balancing workforce availability, staff contracts, compliance obligations and participant needs in a busy NDIS environment.
Expect a high-volume inbox (300-400 emails daily), tight deadlines and a team that relies on your accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage a high-volume inbox (300-400 emails daily), triaging, prioritising and responding within tight timeframes
- Provide high-level administrative support to the rostering and operations team, ensuring accuracy across all workforce data
- Maintain and update staff records, availability, compliance documentation and system information
- Audit and verify timesheets for payroll, ensuring attention to detail and Award compliance
- Liaise with managers and support staff to resolve queries, adjust schedules and maintain smooth service delivery
- Interpret and apply SCHADS Award requirements to support compliant workforce coordination
What You'll Bring
Essential - Minimum 2 years' experience in rostering, scheduling or workforce coordination
- Strong administrative background with high attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience interpreting the SCHADS Award (or similar industrial instruments)
- High-level computer literacy across rostering systems and Microsoft Office
- Current Class C Driver's Licence
- Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
- NDIS Worker Screening (as required)
Desirable - Experience in disability, community services or NDIS-funded programs
- Payroll or timesheet auditing experience
- Strong understanding of workforce cost management and overtime control
