Are you a passionate Science teacher ready for your next opportunity? We're looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic educator to join a respected independent co-educational Christian school in Kemps Creek for Terms 3 and 4 of 2025.
This is a full-time temporary position, perfect for a teacher who is eager to make a meaningful impact in a supportive school environment. Whether your specialty is Biology, Chemistry, or Physics, the school is open to your area of expertise. Both experienced teachers and recent graduates are warmly encouraged to apply.
Demonstrated Experience and Skills
- qualifications and suitable experience to teach Science to years 7-12
- demonstrated strategies to cater for a variety of learners
- desire to work as part of the wider school team
- flexibility to respond to a dynamic learning environment
- evidence of a relational approach to colleagues, students, and parents
- effective organisation and ability to fulfil administrative and assessment requirements of a teaching role
- excellent communication skills
- ability to achieve strong academic results
- a strong understanding of and commitment to Christian education and the Christian development of students
Prerequisites:
- Eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
- Tertiary Qualification (minimum 4-year degree, or 75% complete)
- Valid Working with Children Check (for employment purposes)
- Have unrestricted working rights in Australia
- 2 school-based references and one Christian church reference
