Are you ready to make your mark in the Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) space? We're seeking a passionate and proactive Vacancy and Occupancy Coordinator to be the face of our organisation and a key part of our small, dedicated team.
About the Role:
As the SDA Vacancy and Occupancy Coordinator, you'll take the lead in managing inquiries, coordinating tenant placements and building strong relationships with stakeholders, including SIL providers, support coordinators and prospective tenants.
You'll be at the forefront of the organisation, a trusted point of contact who ensures the right people are matched with the right homes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all SDA vacancy inquiries and placement processes from end to end
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with SIL providers, support coordinators and families
- Coordinate property viewings, assessments and onboarding
- Keep vacancy information up to date across internal systems and platforms
- Contribute to continuous improvement of our referral and placement processes
- Represent the organisation at sector events and networking opportunities
What We're Looking For:
- Passion for the disability sector and commitment to person-centred practice
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience in housing, disability, community services or SDA (highly regarded)
- Confident working both independently and as part of a small, supportive team
- A go-getter who's ready to take initiative and grow with us
