This role involves teaching and supporting students in Years 7-10.

Key duties:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive math curriculum that aligns with The Victorian Curriculum
- Create engaging and interactive lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to effectively convey mathematical concepts and problem-solving strategies.
- Provide timely feedback to students on their performance and progress in math.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the individual needs of students, including providing additional support or challenges as needed.
- Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated on best practices in math education, teaching methodologies, and curriculum development.
- Collaborate with other math teachers and school staff to share resources, ideas, and best practices.
Skills & Experience:
- Current VIT registration
- Full, unrestricted working rights in Australia
- Proven experience teaching Mathematics in a secondary school setting (Australia or NZ)
- Familiarity with the Catholic education system - highly regarded but not essential
- Recent graduates are encouraged to apply - we welcome fresh perspectives!
- Two education-based references from the past five years (student-teacher mentors are acceptable)
