About the Role:
A rewarding opportunity awaits a committed Secondary Math teacher to join an excellent Secondary school in Sunshine, nestled in Melbourne's West. This full-time, permanent position is available immediately, welcoming both fresh graduates and seasoned educators alike. The role involves teaching Maths, instructing students in years 7-9 but VCE classes are optional to experienced teachers.

Key Duties
- Develop and implement a comprehensive math curriculum that aligns with The Victorian Curriculum
- Create engaging and interactive lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to effectively convey mathematical concepts and problem-solving strategies.
- Provide timely feedback to students on their performance and progress in math.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the individual needs of students, including providing additional support or challenges as needed.
- Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated on best practices in math education, teaching methodologies, and curriculum development.
- Collaborate with other math teachers and school staff to share resources, ideas, and best practices.
Skills & Experience:
- Must have unrestricted working rights in Australia
- Current VIT registration
- Demonstrate previous experience in teaching Secondary Maths in Australia, advantageous
- Graduates welcome to apply and will be supported
- Ability to provide contact details for two education-based references from within the last 5 years (student-teacher mentors are acceptable).
