Located in Melbourne's vibrant western suburbs, this innovative and supportive F-9 school is seeking an enthusiastic and creative Secondary Visual Arts Teacher for Years 7-9. This full-time position commences mid-August.

Key duties:
- Develop and deliver a comprehensive Visual Arts curriculum aligned with the Victorian Curriculum, covering diverse techniques, mediums, and concepts.
- Create engaging, differentiated lessons incorporating hands-on projects, demonstrations, discussions, and art history.
- Manage art studio resources, ensuring a safe and organised learning environment.
- Teach a range of disciplines including drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, ceramics, photography, and digital media.
- Assess student skills and creativity through critiques, portfolio reviews, and exhibitions.
- Organise and curate art displays to showcase student work within the school and community.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary and cross-curricular projects.
Skills & Experience:
- Have unrestricted working rights in Australia
- Completed relevant Qualifications in Education
- Current VIT registration
- Demonstrate previous teaching or placement experience in teaching Secondary Art in Australia/NZ
- Ability to provide contact details for two education-based references from within the last 5 years (student-teacher mentors are acceptable).
