Tradewind Australia is partnering with a respected national not-for-profit organisation to recruit an experienced Service Integration Lead for the Carer Gateway program in Katoomba.

This is a senior, non-clinical leadership opportunity suited to a confident community services professional who can step in quickly, provide operational stability and lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver strong outcomes for carers across the region.

If you have leadership experience in mental health, disability, carer services or broader community services, this contract offers meaningful impact and strong SCHADS Level 6 remuneration.

About the Role

Reporting to the Service Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Carer Gateway program and lead a team of up to 15 staff including Counsellors, Coaches, Peer Support Facilitators and Navigators.

This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on operational leadership.

Your key focus will include:

• Driving performance against KPIs and service agreements

• Leading and mentoring a multidisciplinary team

• Strengthening stakeholder and community partnerships

• Overseeing reporting, risk management and quality improvement

• Supporting a positive, accountable team culture

What You'll Bring

• Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Community Services, Social Science or related field (or equivalent experience)

• Minimum 2 years leadership experience

• Background in mental health, disability, carer or community services

• Experience managing KPIs, reporting and operational oversight

• Strong stakeholder engagement and partnership-building capability

• Current NSW Driver Licence

• Valid NSW Working With Children Check and Police Check

• Full working rights in Australia
