The Role
As a Tradewind Casual Relief Teacher, you will work across a selection of primary and secondary schools. We match your skills, experience and availability to the right schools to ensure you enjoy each placement and feel supported throughout.

Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lessons that maintain continuity of learning in the absence of the regular teacher
- Adapt teaching approaches to meet diverse learning needs across different schools
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Provide clear handover notes and support daily routines
Skills & Experience
Must-Haves
- Current and valid Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration
- Completed teaching qualification (Primary and/or Secondary)
- Ability to confidently manage a classroom and create a positive learning environment
- Ability to provide two education-based references (mentor teachers accepted)
- Experience or willingness to work in Special Development Settings
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience teaching across a range of year levels
- Familiarity with different school settings (government, independent, Catholic)
