Speech Pathologist Opportunities - Community & Acute Settings
Make a meaningful difference across early childhood or adult clinical care

We're currently recruiting speech pathologists for two rewarding opportunities-one within a community-based early intervention team working with children aged 3-5, and the other in an acute ward setting within a clinical environment. These roles offer the chance to deliver high-impact, evidence-based care in supportive, multidisciplinary teams.

The Roles

  • Early Childhood (Community-Based)
Support children aged 3-5 and their families through tailored early intervention approaches. You'll work collaboratively with carers, educators, and allied health professionals to build communication skills and improve long-term outcomes in home and community settings.
  • Acute Clinical Setting (Adult Focus)
Provide assessment and intervention to adults with communication and/or swallowing difficulties in a clinical setting. Working alongside medical, nursing, and allied health teams, you will support patients during their recovery journey with a focus on best-practice care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and swallowing assessments
  • Develop and implement individualised treatment plans
  • Liaise with families, carers, and other professionals to coordinate care
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and care planning
  • Contribute to outcome measurement, progress reporting, and service improvement

About You

  • Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology
  • Eligibility for membership with Speech Pathology Australia
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • A commitment to delivering culturally safe, person-centred care
  • Experience in either paediatrics or adult health is highly regarded

Benefits

  • Flexible full-time or part-time opportunities
  • Supportive clinical supervision and professional development
  • Work in dynamic teams that value collaboration and growth
  • Contribute to impactful services that promote lasting change

Whether you're passionate about helping young children find their voice or supporting adults through their recovery, these roles offer scope for meaningful, fulfilling work.
