Job Description
Key responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for students, staff, and visitors (in person, phone, and email)
- Provide information, advice, and referrals related to student services, rights, wellbeing, volunteering, and campus activities
- Assist students with bookings, resources, and general enquiries
- Supervise, mentor, and support a small group of student volunteers and casual staff
- Support student clubs with basic advice, information, and resources
- Promote membership, volunteering opportunities, and student activities
- Support office administration, governance tasks, and small projects
- Assist with facilities guidance and report maintenance issues as required
- Distribute information and promotional materials across campus
About you
- Experience working with Students
Strong communication skills
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks at once
Comfortable working in a busy, public-facing environment
Confident providing advice, guidance, and referrals
Experience supporting or supervising volunteers is highly regarded
A proactive team player with solid administration skills
